2 cups (about 8 oz) penne pasta

1 Tbsp unsalted butter

½ cup heavy cream

½ tsp The Saucy African Pepper Heat Blend (optional)

Freshly grated Parmesan, for serving
Directions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ¼ cup pasta water before draining.
While the pasta cooks, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
(Optional) Add ground meat and cook until browned. Drain excess grease if needed.
Stir in The Saucy African Slow-Cooked Tomato Simmer Sauce and heavy cream. Simmer for 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.
Add Pepper Heat Blend if desired.
Toss drained pasta into the sauce. Add a splash of reserved pasta water if needed to loosen.
Serve immediately with freshly grated Parmesan.
